Description
This spell enables the penitent to imbue a food item with a holy aura. The result of this process fortifies the food, increasing its wholesomeness and sustenance-enhancing capabilities, as well as burning away any poison or other corruption that may afflict it.
The act of consecration has the exceptional power to remove curses, jinxes, and hexes from the food, although it may take multiple casts to remove such negative tainting.
The individual performing the consecration must be of positive alignment, in a location free from the tumult of battle and out of the presence of evildoers.
It is possible for food to be corrupted to the point that even a consecration cannot destroy the evil within.
