Description
Gorth is a small mining town nestled within the rugged Peekos mountains of Beltane. The village is inhabited by a clan of towering giants who have made it clear that outsiders are not welcome. The town is situated in a narrow valley that stretches westward to the town proper and southward to one of the many mining operations in the area. The mountains are incredibly steep, making travel to the east nearly impossible, except for a single tunnel that has been carved into the mountain. The town's primary source of income comes from the mining operations that take place within the mountains. The giants force the poor peoples they enslave to work tirelessly, extracting precious ores and minerals from deep within the earth. Despite their impressive strength, the giants are known for their crude ways and have a reputation for serving disgustingly unappetizing food. Samples of such terrible cuisine can be tried in Gorth for the adventurous, or drow.
