Far beneath the surface of Alyria lies a labyrinthine network of caverns and tunnels, formerly known to many as 'The Sigilian Undergroud' after one of its earliest known entrances was discovered in the city of Sigil. Over time, new entryways to this vast and mysterious realm began to appear, drawing in adventurers and fortune-seekers eager to explore and exploit the vast resources within. As these intrepid explorers delved deeper into the tunnels and caverns, they discovered an array of valuable minerals, rare crystals, and exotic flora and fauna that could be found nowhere else on Alyria. Some even claimed to have stumbled upon ancient artifacts and magical relics, though such claims were often dismissed as mere legend. Despite the many dangers that lurked in the darkness, the lure of wealth and discovery proved too great for many to resist, and soon the tunnels of The Sigilian Underground were filled with a motley crew of miners, adventurers, and treasure hunters, all seeking their fortunes in the shadowy depths. And as the network of caverns continued to expand and evolve, so too did the legends and myths surrounding this mysterious realm, drawing even more brave souls to its dark and treacherous confines.
