Description
Inoculation against malignant diseases is hopefully as easy as receiving an injection, but inoculating against malignant ideas requires education. Education, like all other aspects of society, require the consent of the recipient- you cannot educate the unwilling any more than you can govern the unwilling. Educating children is challenging, but is tractable due to their curiosity and familiarity with education- teaching adults things is frequently harder, and can rely on much as charisma and conviction as knowledge. An educator whose gravitas are perfect, or whose personality is top-tier, will find an easy audience among their peers, helping every member of the formation to resist disease. Educators who are good, or merely very charismatic, may be able to convince one person to prioritize self-improvement but will not be able to make everyone listen to reason. Those whose intentions may be suspect, or whose personalities are too grating, will be unable to convince anyone else of the wisdom of their words and must be content with improving only their own lives.
