Description

Death is not the only gatekeeper into the realms beyond, merely the most public. Any sufficiently powerful entity is indistinguishable from a god, and anyone who can free themselves from the shackles of mortality is also empowered to cage others. By designating a psychopomps waypoint, however temporarily, they can reroute the mortal remains of the death to that waypoint, effectively harboring all corpses until nature reclaims them.
