Description
Skill power boosts the effectiveness of skills in ways as varied as skills' effects themselves. Due to the strength of various skills' effects and the benefits conferred by skill power, not all skill power is created equal. One spell's skill power may kick in at a lower threshold than another proficiency's, but their utility is roughly equivalent point for point.
Skill power is distinct from how learned in a skill an Adventurer is and is not granted by practicing that skill. Knowledge of a skill will cause you to succeed more often when using it, but skill power is a distinct benefit, often conferred by magic, enchanted equipment or particular domain expertise.
The most reliable way of gaining skill power in a given skill is to gain knowledge of that skill from two classes- passive skill power is granted for every distinct class which has knowledge of that skill.
Skill power can only benefit skills which have been learned to 75% or above.
