Synopsis
cast 'djinn captor' [<victim>]
Description
This spell summons a djinn slavewarden from their far-off land to restrain a victim. Talented in the arts of preventing escapes, the djinn have built an empire on the backs of their slaves. However, recognizing the impossibility of taking back the victims they restrain with them, they are more than happy enough to simply take the promise of gold for a few minutes worth of work.
The binding magic that allows djinn captors to visit Alyria is very temporary, and they will be automatically returned to their homes within a few minutes of being summoned. They are a territorial race, and only one slavewarden may be present in a room at a time, and none may be summoned in rooms that non-adventurers cannot enter.
The level and power of the slavewarden summoned is based upon the spell's modifier, and the amount of time they can stay in Alyria is determined by the spell's duration and the personality of both the captive and the caster.
The djinn can be foiled before they even arrive, if the victim passively interrupts the spellcasting, and when the djinn does arrive, they can be killed by a sufficiently incentivized captive.
